Raila Odinga, leader of Azimio, rejected reports of President William Ruto’s administration pushing for Western countries to impose sanctions on him, stating that his call for mass action and rallies were allowed under the Kenyan Constitution and it was Kenyans’ responsibility to solve their own problems.
Speaking at a rally in Trans Nzoia County, Raila emphasized that Kenya had no issues with neighboring or international countries, and if there were any problems within the country, Kenyans had the mandate to solve them.

His speech also highlighted the importance of respecting the rights of Kenyans to protest and the need for the Kenyan people to take responsibility for their own problems.
He emphasized Kenya’s sovereignty and independence in dealing with internal affairs.
