On Saturday, a rally will be led by Azimio leader Raila Odinga and other politicians in Narok, where they are scheduled to tour Ewaso Nyiro Market, Ntulele Market, and other parts of the Narok region.
The previous day, Raila led an Azimio coalition rally in Migori county, where he announced that he will soon release a list of products to be boycotted.
Raila claimed that several companies are being misused by President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza administration and that they must be avoided by opposition supporters.
Several counties have taken to the streets to protest against the high cost of living as opposition demonstrations gain momentum.
Raila has called for mass action against what he calls an illegal government and has announced a peaceful movement of defiance invoking the provisions of the Constitution.
On March 20, 2023, supporters from throughout the country will hold a massive procession in Nairobi to demand a legitimate and inclusive government.
Raila also spoke out against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Ruto, stating that they cannot continue to make false promises and that the real pain will begin when painkillers are no longer effective.
