Rashford to miss England’s next two games.

United manager Erik ten Hag thinks Marcus Rashford has a good shot at making the World Cup.

“It’s quite obvious and quite clear (he can). He played really good seasons and this season he has had a great comeback. He’s shown his great potential and quality.”

Marcus Rashford is expected to miss England’s Nations League international recall due to an injury, but coach Erik ten Hag is confident that the attacker will be healthy enough to make the World Cup squad.

Yet the 24-year-old is still suffering from an injury sustained in the 3-1 Premier League victory against Arsenal on September 4. He scored twice in that game, giving him three goals for the season.

Rashford missed United’s 1-0 loss to Real Sociedad at home in United’s Europa League opener and will also sit out Thursday’s second match against Sheriff Tiraspol.
