    Ruto appoints David Ndii to head his Council of Economic Advisors

    David Ndii, a well-known economist, has been named the new chairman of the President’s Council of Economic Advisors.

    On Friday, October 14, departing Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua made the statement.

    The President’s Council of Economic Advisors, of which David Ndii is Chairperson, will report directly to the Office of the President under an executive order issued by President William Ruto on Friday.

    David Ndii played a significant role in the Kenya Kwanza Coalition’s successful campaigns, which helped put President Ruto in office. He was a key member of the team that developed the economic and political framework President Ruto used in the August polls. The economist has a distinguished history in the field of economics.
