William Ruto, the newly elected president, is expected to attend Johnson Sakaja’s inauguration ceremony.
The senior leaders of Kenya Kwanza would be attending the ceremony as special guests. The event will be held at the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC).
Attendees will include all 17 of Nairobi’s elected MPs, as well as 84 members of the County Assembly, a Senator, and a Woman Representative.
It is also believed that outgoing Speaker Benson Mutura would be present.
On Thursday, between 10 AM and 2 PM, Sakaja will be sworn in as the fourth Governor of Nairobi.
