President William Ruto has arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, for a diplomatic meeting with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
CS-designate Davis Chirchir for the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum, Duale, and Kapsaret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi, accompanied President Ruto.
Ruto was welcomed by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed at the Bole International Airport on his landing in Ethiopia this morning.
Additionally, the visit occurs when Ethiopian forces and the Tigray People Liberation Front (TPLF) are still at war.
It is anticipated that the two leaders’ meeting would center on discussions about the ongoing crisis in Tigray.
At the inaugural opening of Safaricom Ethiopia in Addis Abeba, President Ruto is also anticipated to be present.
