    Published on

On Sunday night, President William Ruto arrived in Tanzania to begin a two-day state visit during which he would meet with Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu for bilateral discussions.

On Monday, October 10, Ruto is scheduled to meet President Suluhu. This meeting is timed to coincide with Kenya’s commemoration of Utamaduni Day.

A press release from the office of President Ruto said that he would be in the country to strengthen diplomatic relations and promote more commercial cooperation between Kenya and Tanzania.

In addition to First Lady Rachel Ruto, he was joined by his nominees for Cabinet Secretaries (CSs) of Foreign Affairs (Dr. Alfred Mutua) and Defense (Aden Duale).
