The Supreme Court will issue its complete, final verdict on the presidential petition on Monday, September 26th.
According to Letizia Wachira, the Supreme Court’s registrar, the ruling will be sent out via email at 2.30 p.m.
After Chief Justice Martha Koome pronounced the judgment, the seven-judge bench said that the explanatory opinion will be issued 21 days later.
Raila Odinga, the presidential candidate for Azimio, and six other petitioners had a combined petition rejected by the court because it lacked adequate proof.
Despite receiving 6.9 million votes, the ODM leader claimed the election was rigged in favor of President William Ruto, who got 7.1 million votes.
Although he disagrees with the ruling, he stated he respects the court’s judgment.
