After a two-year break, the well-liked Kenyan drama series “The Real Househelps of Kawangware” will return to television.
It was revealed that the next season of the program would premiere on KTN Home in a series of promotions that aired on Sunday, November 27.
The first episode of the program will premiere on November 30. Winnie Ruby, who portrays Awiti in the show, corroborated the information.
“We have returned! Every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. on KTN, The Real Househelps of Kawangware will grace your screens,” Ruby said.
All of the actors from the previous season, including Stephen Oduor Dede aka DJ Shiti, and Leah Nkatha (Nkirote), were confirmed to have returned in the season premiere trailer.
Other well-known actors and performers include Theophilus Abong (Crotus), Wambui Wanjiko (Siphira), David Marucha (Michireti), and Bernice Njeri (Njambi).
The news was warmly received by the show’s supporters and fans, who expressed how much they had missed the cast’s comic relief.
