Sunday night’s fireworks were the perfect cap to the Nairobi Festival.
Nairobi locals gathered at Uhuru Park to witness the World Cup final between Argentina and France, signaling the conclusion of the festivities.
The trophy was very important to the team, as Argentina took home the victory.
Women’s representative Esther Passaris was also there, along with Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja and his deputy Njoroge Muchiri.
It was attended by a number of authorities from Nairobi County.
The first Nairobi Festival, held at Uhuru Park, included screenings of at least 16 films and documentaries made in Kenya.
