The Secretary-General of Kenya’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA), Cleophas Malala, said that they will identify and prosecute former state officials who are believed to have stolen public money.
Malala mentioned that these individuals will be arrested once Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua shares the report publicly.
Malala also stated that the government will try to find the money that the individuals might have put in foreign banks.

Gachagua promised to reveal the names of officials who stole billions of money a few days before the Kenya Kwanza administration took over in September.
These officials allegedly raided government funds while the Supreme Court case was ongoing.
The Deputy President stated that the stolen money was taken to these officials’ homes.
