UEFA: No Conte, Spurs face pressure against Marseille.

As Antonio Conte watches Tottenham’s Champions League final match against Marseille from the stands, he will feel like he’s in “a totally different world.”
Until 15 minutes after the final whistle, the Italian coach is banned from the locker room and cannot address his players.
That rules him out of having any say that would affect the outcome of a game that is crucial to Spurs’ as they hope of advancing to the quarterfinals.

“Antonio lives his job with fervor whenever he’s on the sidelines, but he probably has a harder time doing so whenever he’s in the stands. He has a lot of energy and enthusiasm, but he struggles greatly if he can’t express it to us.

In a tough match like this one, where things are likely to be intense until the final whistle blows, a coach like Conte is just crucial, both before the game and throughout the week leading up to it and during the match itself.” stated the assistant coach.

“Thankfully, I don’t have to deal with it alone. Having the whole team, including Ryan Mason, on my side helps a lot.” added Cristian Stellini.
