On Saturday, October 15, former President Uhuru Kenyatta delivered on his word and donated a school bus to Partakilat Primary School in Narok County.
Uhuru handed a 53-seat bus while posing for selfies with both students and teachers.
Partakilat Primary School, which serves students in kindergarten through seventh grade, is located in the middle of the Siria Escarpment in the Great Rift Valley.
The primary school is located a few kilometers from the safari lodge, where a picture of President Uhuru Kenyatta leaving the facility surfaced online a few days before this event.
Funds earned via regular donations to the Foundation Angama Mara are the primary source of revenue for the school.
Three classrooms, student ablution facilities, and teacher housing and ablution facilities have been constructed at Partakilat primary school by the Angama Foundation since the organization’s establishment in 2015.
The foundation has also partnered with foreign visitors and other NGOs to help improve Partakilat and the surrounding community.
