The Roots Party, founded by Professor George Wajackoyah, has announced organizational reforms.
Tuesday, August 30th, the party sent out a notification introducing the newly elected leaders and outlining their responsibilities.
Yagnik Vinod Ramji was named deputy party leader, the announcement said.
Janet Akinyi Odhiambo has been appointed as the new deputy national chairman for the Roots Party, while Naran Velji Arjan has been appointed as the new chief executive officer.
Sadly, Justina Wamae, Wajackoyah’s estranged running mate, was not included. It’s been less than a week since Wajackoyah called Wamae in for a reprimand.
Wamae was called in to defend herself after being accused of making hostile and inconsistent remarks regarding the Roots Party.
