Safina leader Jimmy Wanjigi isn’t holding back, he’s speaking out against President William Ruto’s recent clash with the Kenyatta family over taxes. Speaking at Power of Faith Church International in Kiambu, Wanjigi warned the government to leave former President Jomo Kenyatta’s property alone and focus on settling the issue with President Uhuru Kenyatta instead.
“Hamutatatua mkitafuta mali ya Jomo Kenyatta. That one we will not allow,” he said.
💬Mama Ngina Fires Back💬
Former first lady Mama Ngina isn’t taking the allegations lying down. Speaking at a church in Lamu county, she fired back at the state, saying the due process of the law should be followed and people’s names shouldn’t be soiled just for the state to be seen as working. Mama Ngina also dared the state to auction her properties if she is found to have failed to meet her tax obligations.
“It is not true that I have not paid tax and people know they are not saying the truth,” she said.
