    Westland Demolition Director Pleads not Guilty for Robbery Charges.

    The director of a firm accused of demolishing a Westlands home faces criminal charges of robbery with violence. 

    Company director Nathaniel Barmasai denied the claims when he appeared before chief judge Wendy Micheni in the milimani law courts. He was being held on charges of robbery with violance.

    Per the accusation, the accused stole Ksh18 million in property from Niraj Shah Avaini. Police officer testified that Barmasai threatened the family before robbing them.

    “Barmasai was arrested and charged with burglary and theft of various household items, including electronic gadgets, jewelry, and other valuables.” Reads  the charges against Barmasai.

    The investigating authorities requested that Mr.Baraza of Siuma Autioneers be held for an additional 14 days so that they could gather further information, but the court declained their wish.

    Barmasai was released on money bail of between Ksh2 and Ksh3 million bond.
