Kenyans can buy William Ruto’s official presidential portrait at various information offices.

The Government Spokesperson’s announced on September 15 that portraits will be sold at Ksh300.

The portrait will be available to those in Nairobi at the Department of Information’s Uchimi House on Aga Khan Walk in the Central Business District (CBD).

In the remaining 46 counties, the government indicated that the portraits were available at various county and sub-county offices under the Ministry of Information, Communication, and Technology (ICT).

“Following the inauguration into office of H.E Hon. William Samoei Ruto as the President of the Republic of Kenya, we wish to inform our people that presidential portraits are now available.

“Offices and individuals at the county and sub-county levels can get their copies from County/Sub-county Information Officers,” read the statement.

As is tradition, many offices and businesses are anticipated to replace the photograph of former President Uhuru Kenyatta with that of his successor, William Ruto.

While there is no rule requiring all Kenyans to display the photo in their offices and companies.
