Kenya’s EALA delegate Winnie Odinga has urged East African countries to unite in opposition to the introduction of genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
While being interviewed on Monday’s program of Spice FM, Winnie said that East African countries might independently investigate GMO foods and develop their own policies.

According to Winnie, it is not the right time for Kenya to adopt GMO.
There has been an increase in the number of prominent individuals who speak out against the introduction of GMO food.
